N.J. weather: Rain expected each day through Saturday

Several days of beautiful weather in New Jersey will give way to unsettled conditions with periods of rain though Saturday, forecasters say. While none of the upcoming days will be a washout, expect some precipitation. Expect about a quarter to a half-inch of rain across northern New Jersey and a half-inch to an inch across the rest of the state, the National Weather Service said in its morning forecast discussion.
