Miami Herald bias rating is Lean Left. As of June 2017, a small majority of AllSides users who have voted on this bias rating disagreed with the Lean Left rating. Of those who disagreed, most people chose a Left bias rating for the Miami Herald, but the average was still in the range of Lean Left. The Miami Herald was founded in 1903 and is one of the largest newspapers in Florida. It is currently owned by the McClatchy Company, a large publishing company based in Sacramento, California. According to the Miami Herald's website, it has regular readers in South Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America and circulates in a very culturally diverse region. In 2013, the Miami Herald moved it's headquarters to Doral, Florida, a city a few miles west of Miami.
