Trump supporters create and share AI photos of him with black voters in ‘strategic narrative’ to push popularity lie

Supporters of former President Donald Trump are spreading artificial intelligence-generated photos of him surrounded by black voters to drum up extra support, according to a report.

The now-viral AI pictures show the former president hugging or posing with smiling black Americans, suggesting the fake people are supporters.

Cliff Albright, the co-founder of a group called Black Voters Matter, called the manipulated images a “strategic narrative” aimed at perpetuating a specific lie — that Trump is popular among young black voters, according to the BBC.

A Rhode Island educator is speaking out about a DHS-funded program that purportedly promotes the teaching of media literacy and combating disinformation she claims is meant to "indoctrinate children." Ramona Bessinger, a high school teacher in Providence, R.I., authored a piece for Legal Insurrection on Monday recalling the training she and other educators participated in last fall, blowing the whistle she says on an initiative from the University of Rhode Island's Media Education Lab called Courageous RI.

A CNN journalist has slammed his own network after it aired the controversial town hall event with Donald Trump, branding the primetime event a "spectacle of lies."

Oliver Darcy, CNN's senior media reporter, wrote in his CNN newsletter overnight after the show: "It's hard to see how America was served by the spectacle of lies that aired on CNN Wednesday evening."

"A professional lie machine, Trump fired off falsehoods at a rapid clip while using his bluster to overwhelm Collins, stealing command of the stage at some points of the town hall."
