A home health nurse in Florida has been arrested after allegedly abusing an 18-year-old disabled woman in her care. Nia Ayers, 24, was charged with aggravated abuse of the elderly or disabled after disturbing footage from home security cameras was turned over to authorities, according to a news release from the St. Cloud Police Department. The victim, a non-verbal quadriplegic woman diagnosed with cerebral palsy, was allegedly assaulted multiple times while under Ayers’ care. SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KESQ) - An indictment was unsealed today charging multiple alleged leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel with narco-terrorism and material support of terrorism, in what was described as the first indictment returned in the nation levying terrorism charges against the cartel's leadership. The indictment follows an executive order issued by President Donald Trump that designated the Sinaloa Cartel and other drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

UnitedHealth CEO Andrew Witty is stepping down for personal reasons and the nation's largest health insurer suspended its full-year financial outlook due to higher-than-expected medical costs. Chairman Stephen Hemsley will become CEO, effective immediately, the Minnesota company said. Hemsley was UnitedHealth Group CEO from 2006 to 2017. He will remain chairman of the company’s board. Witty will serve as a senior adviser to Hemsley.

MEXICO CITY—Mexican special forces blasted into a safe house in the Sinaloa cartel stronghold of Culiacán earlier this year looking for Mexico’s most wanted man: Iván Archivaldo Guzmán.

The son of Sinaloa cartel founder Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán and current leader of the cartel’s most powerful faction narrowly evaded capture, according to Mexican officials. A cabinet in a bathroom obscured the entrance to a tunnel where Guzmán escaped as special forces moved in.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced the immediate suspension of all cattle, horse, and bison imports coming from Mexico amid the “rapid” spread of a deadly parasitic insect known as the New World screwworm fly.
