Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is keeping Democrats in suspense as speculation swirls about her next career move. 

The star progressive launched a video last month reminiscent of a presidential pitch, stoking new questions about her political ambitions — with some wondering about a 2028 bid for the White House and others suggesting she could challenge Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) that same year.

The White House slammed Democrats for playing "partisan games" and calling for an investigation into alleged insider trading after President Donald Trump paused customized reciprocal tariffs for 90 days on Wednesday.

The socialist firebrands have been criss-crossing the country, attracting some of the largest crowds of their careers. Their rallies are bigger than any other events currently being held by Democrats, and party figures of all stripes are taking notice.

Even Will Rogers might be hard pressed to come up with an appropriately harsh jibe about the current state of the Democrats.

“I am not a member of any organized political party,” the 20th-century humorist famously said. “I am a Democrat.”

Now, the problem isn’t a lack of organization per se, but the hangover of their dogged, dishonest support for a comprehensively failed presidency, joined to an irrational commitment to outlandish positions on cultural issues.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, Republican of Florida, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Democrat of New York, are teaming up on bipartisan effort to limit interest rates on credit cards.

"For too long, credit card companies have abused working class Americans with absurd interest rates, trapping them in an almost insurmountable amount of debt," Luna wrote on X alongside a photo of herself and Ocasio-Cortez.

"We need a fair solution — and that means getting rid of the status quo and putting a reasonable cap on interest rates."

Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley on Monday decried “a prosecution” of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) “for hosting” an immigration webinar.

“Border Czar Tom Homan doubled down last night that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) might be prosecuted for hosting a forum on ‘Know Your Rights’ for accused illegal aliens. Such a prosecution would be an assault on free speech rights,” Turley said in a thread on the social platform X on Monday, as highlighted by Mediaite.
